The Participation Act replaces social assistance for Wajong recipients who can work partially. If your Wajong benefit is less than 35%, the municipality supplements it to social assistance level. Obligations: job searching, reintegration and income reporting. Municipalities assess individually via work plans. Legal basis: Participation Act article 7 and Wajong linkage. Differences: UWV manages Wajong, municipality the supplement. Tips: report changes to both authorities, prevent double taxation and apply for remission.
