Based on points: surface area, facilities, energy index, and location. Maximum rent at 142 points: €808.06 (2024). If exceeded, you may demand a reduction.
Procedure for Requesting an Assessment
- Gather your rental contract, service charge details, and WOZ assessment.
- Submit your request online via huurcommissie.nl.
- AWAIT a hearing (within 3 months).
The decision is binding; the landlord often bears the costs. In case of objection: appeal to the court.
