WW for 50+: Longer Duration and Senior Rules
Employees over 50 are entitled to extended WW duration and special rules. This article lists the benefits, with conditions and application.
Extended WW Duration
From age 50: extra months of WW per year of service above 10 years. Maximum 24 months for 58+.
Senior Measures
Less stringent suitable-work criteria: no wage requirement below 75% after 2 years. Extra career coaching via UWV.
Additional Conditions
Standard reference period requirement applies, but more flexible with part-time pension. Report AOW age in time.
